Rebecca Maile was born and raised in a small town in New York. Art has always been a passion for Rebecca. During grade school, Rebecca attended many art classes. She studied privately at the Oblong School of Art, under instructor Denisa Fenton, for five years; it is here that she really began to understand her love for drawing and painting. Rebecca went on to study Art Education at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Here she attended many studio classes in a variety of media and also taught in a few schools, gaining experience with students K-12. Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education from The College of Saint Rose. She is certified her to teach grades K-12 in New York State and Massachusetts. She concentrated in painting and she minored in Art History.
